A raised plaque is a two-layer plaque that adds an extra special look relative to standard plaques.

Raised Plaques give your plaques an extra special look

The top image is mounted with a UV laminate on a 1/4" MDF(engineered wood) plaque, with the option of having it raised from the underlying plaque using a 1/8" MDF sheet. This is then mounted to the backing plaque.

The backing plaque is built using a color mat of your choice (see our Mat Plaque page for a color selector) and UV laminated. We use 1/8" beveled edges and contoured edge colors (see the Plaque Mount page for edge colors).
